Wayfarers Chapel

If you are looking for a jaw-dropping setting for your wedding ceremony, look no further than Wayfarers Chapel. Designed by Lloyd Wright, the son of the renowned American architectural pioneer Frank Lloyd Wright, the chapel stands atop the coastline surrounded by a grove of redwoods. The glass chapel was created to be a natural sanctuary that emphasized connecting one’s spirit with nature.

Now you can say “I do” inside the beautiful glass sanctuary with a canopy of trees overhead. Don’t forget time to take photos outside in the numerous gardens and manicured lawns. The space offers weddings almost every single day of the week at various times throughout the day. And they serve all couples looking to get married.

Descanso Gardens

There are a variety of gorgeous outdoor spaces at Descanso Gardens available for a ceremony-only celebration. Choose from either the stunning Rose Garden or the Boddy House both offering luscious lawn spaces for your “I dos”. An additional 2 hours of photography time is included in your rental, so you can explore the ground with your photographer for your First Look or couple portraits.

The venue’s traditional wedding season runs from mid-March until mid-September. Ceremony-only weddings are available to be booked on Fridays and Sundays only.

Culver Hotel

This niche hotel in downtown Culver City is a historic landmark and offers tons of antique charm. The Culver Hotel boasts 6 separate areas that can be utilized for a wedding ceremony only in Los Angeles.

The Grand Lobby features a cozy seating environment with beautiful windows and a robust fireplace to utilize as your ceremony backdrop. The Gallery Level offers 3 connecting rooms that allow for seamless transitions. From an intimate ceremony to a traditional cake cutting and ample room for beautiful photos. You will find yourself surrounded by large French windows that allow in plenty of natural light, highlighting the Parisian loft-style atmosphere.

At this ceremony-only wedding venue in Los Angeles, you can complete your event with a decadent dining experience as well. Dinner can be held in the Crystal Dining Room, a private escape for an alfresco experience with your loved ones. You can then retreat upstairs to the Velvet Lounge for cocktails in their relaxing speakeasy-inspired space.

The Inn of the Seventh Ray

A rustic and elegant choice for a ceremony-only wedding or elopement surrounded by nature in the hills of Topanga Canyon! At the Inn of the Seventh Ray, you can celebrate with your loved ones at a botanical retreat. Their lush grounds offer a variety of backdrops for your ceremony including their fountain patio, a waterfall, or creekside.

Truly the wedding of your dreams can come to life here with their flexible package planning at this ceremony-only wedding venue in Los Angeles. A ceremony-only reservation will allow you 2 hours on the property with add-ons available to elevate your event to a small celebration!

The Maxwell House

Nestled in cozy Pasadena is The Maxwell House, a gorgeous Mediterranean Italianate-style mansion. It is home to The Western Justice Center, which operates programs online, in schools, and in the community. Their outreach provides valuable programs that promote conflict resolution and social justice.

An Elopement Package is available for a 3-hour ceremony-only celebration. Couples have the option of choosing the Garden Patio, Living Room, or Foyer for their up to 15 guest ceremony. This package is available for bookings Monday- Wednesday or Sunday.

They also offer a Boutique Wedding Package. This is perfect for couples celebrating a ceremony and/or micro-reception with close friends and family. A rental for 6 hours includes the rental space, tables, chairs, plenty of free public parking in a nearby lot, and furniture setup. This package is available for guest counts up to 40, and books Monday-Wednesday or on a Sunday.

Violet Cactus

This venue in Burbank offers two different spaces for your intimate events. Their petite venue offers a chic intimate private dining space for up to 30 guests. It’s the perfect Parisian Cafe meets indoor garden vibe. If you have a guest count of up to 50, their studio venue offers a beautiful marbled space for a ceremony or dinner reception. Just a few steps outside is their brand-new patio for cocktail hour, complete with a built-in wood bar.

Violet Cactus offers multiple package options depending on the timeframe of your event. From half-day rentals, which are perfect for a ceremony-only wedding in Los Angeles, to a full-day 12-hour rental for your celebration. And if you are looking for some extra pizazz they provide studio balloon decor packages as well!

Albertson Wedding Chapel

For the couple who wants to make as few decisions as possible, the Albertson Wedding Chapel and their all-inclusive packages are perfect for you! They offer a range of customizable wedding packages that can include your marriage license, personal florals, photographer, officiant/minister, and gorgeous indoor spaces adorned with spectacular white flowers and greenery for a lavish look.

Most couples are on site for about 2 hours for the ceremony and photos before departing to a nearby restaurant for dinner. Reception packages are available as an add-on at this venue.
