I was so excited when I was asked to be Provenance Rentals Planner of the Month for September and had the chance to bring our signature blend of sophisticated whimsy to the vintage rentals showroom!
Inspired by the warm and bright weather we are still experiencing here in Los Angeles, I wanted to bring something sweet yet sassy to the Provenance Rentals Showroom. Something that would make couples feel like they were at a fun summer wedding! Working hand in hand with a small vendor team that took my bubbling ideas and ran with it, I’m overjoyed to share with you this La Vie En Rosé styled sweetheart table fit for a bright soiree.
Summer is such a wonderful, vibrant time of the year. My favorite thing to do during these warm months is to visit the local Los Angeles gardens and smell all the roses! There are so many varieties of them; hybrid tea roses, Julia Child roses, Bonica roses, Easy Does it roses, climbing roses, Damask roses, Alba Maxima roses…. the list seriously goes on and on!
I wanted to bring the garden of roses idea to a wedding in a fun and whimsical way! So I paired roses with the second best thing in the world – rosé!
I knew from the start I needed someone with vision to capture this small, yet hearty styled shoot. I immediately thought of Katie Jane Photography for her light and airy style, her desire to discover new angles, and the warmth she brings!
Partnering with Provenance Rentals gave so many options for our sweetheart table set-up. I chose to use the Jeanette Drop Leaf Table for its versatility and ability to pair easily with other elements, like the Lisa Shabby Chic Settee. Together these two items created the modern and fun, yet sophisticated look that is our hallmark. To bring in the whimsicality of the pinks we added the Linnea Pink Hand-Knotted Rug.
In order to keep the setting modern in look, I paired the bright hues of pinks with minimalist white place settings from MTB Event Rentals. The contrast of the vellum menu on top of a white napkin and plate created the simple effect of layers without crowding the table with more colors. This allows for the pink elements to wow and awe, while also giving the stark whites the chance to elevate and sophisticate the event. Letter and Ink was the perfect creative genius to pair up with for this. She even did some hand-calligraphed place cards for the bride and groom!
The cherry on top was absolutely Rebel and Rogue Floral Couture’s creations. She took the experience of walking in a rose garden and transformed that into arrangements that took my breath away! I always prefer something on the simple side that packs a punch when it comes to florals for the sweetheart table. More color and texture versus height allows the couple to be the real focus at the table.
I had so much fun being Provenance Rentals Planner of the Month! I am so thankful for these creatives and what they have shared with me to craft this showroom piece. Creating for the sake of FUN has been a goal of mine for the past year and I’m thoroughly excited about the results so far.
